The Health Systems Engineering Association’s mission:

1. To facilitate the exchange of ideas and information between health systems students, faculty, and health professionals.
2. To supplement learning by engaging students in health-related lectures, seminars and conferences both within and outside UW-Madison.
3. To connect past, current, and future students in health systems with faculty and health professionals within UW-Madison.
4. To expand and strengthen ties between the health systems community in UW-Madison and healthcare delivery institutions outside campus.
5. To promote and improve the field of health systems engineering and other affiliated disciplines within UW-Madison.
