The Health Systems Engineering Association (HSEA) started two years ago, with founding members Dana Heitner, Sommer Alexander, Kristin La Fortune, Rupa Sheth, Sam Alper, Hillary Gutnechkt, and Joey Valdez (who took this picture). The overall vision was to supplement and enrich learning by providing opportunities to exchange ideas and information and to build networks between the health systems community in UW-Madison and healthcare delivery institutions outside campus.
